Hello! I'm Felicity and I'm a motherhood photographer based in Fort Worth, Texas. Snuggle up, get cozy, grab a cup of coffee (or an iced chai tea latte in my case) and enjoy this showcase of my latest work. I'm excited to give you a little peek into my life and the moments and milestones I capture for my clients.
Baby bump photographs are the best. Caryn and her husband Colt managed to fit in a maternity session right before the holiday season kicked off. These two are ending 2018 with a bang. A few days after this session they sat down with family for a Thanksgiving dinner. Then they’re celebrating their 5th anniversary with a staycation followed by Christmas celebrations. Somewhere during all of the festivities, they have to make time to welcome their baby girl into the world.
Photographing couples who are about to become parents never gets old. There’s something about the hope, love and tenderness that emanates from them that is contagious. I think you can see in the images we created, that Caryn and Colt are basking in this sweet season and anxiously awaiting their little one. Caryn couldn’t make a more stunning momma-to-be. Her little baby bump photographs perfectly. She picked just the right gown to flatter it. When I saw her step out of her truck on this chilly 45° day, I knew we’d make magic. It might have been cold, but Caryn was a trooper and we had great light. I’ll take cold and sunny over warm and grey any time.
The photo at the bottom of the blog turned out to be one of my favorites. Caryn and Colt were cuddled together (probably for warmth) and I suggested getting a close in portrait of the two of them. It’s one of the only images from their session that doesn’t feature Caryn’s baby bump. When I asked them to snuggle up, I mentioned that it would be one of the last photos of just the two of them as a couple before they became a family of three. They both got a little choked up at the thought and shared the sweetest embrace. Their baby girl will be lucky to have parents who so obviously share a lot of love for one another. Here’s to a great ending to a great year. 2018 will definitely be a year you treasure and I’m so happy I got to document this special time in your family’s story. My 2018 calendar is all filled up, but I’d love to hear from you if you have a special moment to capture in 2019.
