Hello! I'm Felicity and I'm a motherhood photographer based in Fort Worth, Texas. Snuggle up, get cozy, grab a cup of coffee (or an iced chai tea latte in my case) and enjoy this showcase of my latest work. I'm excited to give you a little peek into my life and the moments and milestones I capture for my clients.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love maternity photography. You’ve probably also heard me rave about how lucky I am to live in a neighborhood full of the most amazing mothers. I’m seriously lucky to be doing motherhood in Fort Worth. I mean, this is where the kindest, most helpful moms appear to all be living. There isn’t a week that goes by that I’m not surrounding myself with other neighborhood moms to celebrate (bring on the baby showers and sprinkles), play (I mean, the kid’s playdates are fun, but I’m here for the wine, cheese and chats) or lend a helping hand (meal trains to the rescue).
My phone is constantly blowing up with group texts from my mom brigade. I wouldn’t have it any other way. It takes a village and I landed in a great one. It’s a good thing I love my house, because we aren’t even thinking of moving until Graham leaves for college.
So, when I found out my neighbor, Lauren, was expecting her third little nugget (and first baby girl), I couldn’t wait for an opportunity to get her in front of my camera. We snuck out one evening last week and left the dads to handle bedtime routine on their own. I mean, it’s not my fault that this glowing sunshine can only be captured right when toddlers need to be hitting the hay.
When I swung by to pick Lauren up, she didn’t disappoint. I’ve always admired her style, but when I saw her @anthropologie dress and earrings, I knew they would photograph like a dream. And, can we just give her a round of applause? She has two toddler boys at home and she still managed to have flawless hair and makeup at 7PM on a Tuesday night. Well done, Lauren, well done!
Looking at these images, I can’t help but think that someday the baby girl inside Lauren’s bump is going to be an expecting momma herself. She’ll look at these images of her own joyful mother and she’ll know the kind of love she was already receiving. Making family heirlooms is my favorite thing.
If you’ve got a baby bump in the making, I’d be thrilled to document this special season of life with you. It’s never too early to get your session on my calendar, but I recommend planning for a session around 30 weeks of pregnancy. At 30 weeks, your bump is probably already big enough to show off, but not so big that it’s making you feel completely uncomfortable. Spots on my calendar fill up fast, but it’s not complicated to reserve your spot. All you have to do to get in touch is use my contact form and we can get all the details worked out.
